M.I.A.

Wow...I cannot apologize enough for the absence. I have been working so hard trying to have enough items for the holiday fairs coming up and school has started, that I have not posted anything in almost a month on my blog or in my shop.

I will be taking pictures of everything over the next couple of days and will begin posting and communicating on a regular basis. WEDNESDAYS will be my official posting day for my Etsy shop. I will try to post more often with the holidays coming.

Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or concerns about anything in my shop or on the blog.

Well, back to work now! Visit often you never know what you'll find!

Launch Party...SAMPLE SALE

As I mentioned last week, we are having a "Launch Party...Sample Sale" now through August 31, 2009.

This is a great time to try out our products, let us know what you think, get ready for the holiday gift giving and spread the word! We will have paper sets, gift tags and bags, greeting cards, gift boxes, etc. Whatever we can think of...we will have it in our shop! I am very excited about the new shop and about all of the people I will meet. I hope you are excited as well. Just to give you a preview of the shop, take a look below...

We're off to a great start...

Welcome!

I am in the process of getting our Etsy shop ready for the Launch Party on Monday, August 17, 2009.

I have been in the paper business now for a little over two years, but have been a paper artist for longer. I started using regular cardstock and pre-designed papers. While those are beautiful and I still enjoy using them, I felt I needed to do more. I had always wanted to make my own paper, but could never take out the time do to it. When I did...OMG! What an amazing thing. I saw colors and styles coming from all over the place. There was so much I could do with this new love! Mixing different color pulp, adding botanicals, making molds in different shapes, it is endless!

Since I have so much paper and it just keeps coming (junk mail, kids old books that they have torn up and so on), I can't possibly keep all of this paper I am making. So now is where we come to Pulp 'n Stuff. I decided to use this paper for making cards (eco-friendly and fun), stationery as well as sell some of the combinations of paper that I come up with.

I never add color, I separate papers by color before using them so that I don't have to add any other colors. (This also mean that once that batch is gone, you may or may not see that color again!). Because this paper has already been made once, it already has sizing added to it which will keep ink and markers from bleeding. So you can write whatever you want and it will still look the same!

So that is the introduction, I have to get back to the details now! I am looking forward to the launch party and can't wait to hear what you think about Pulp 'n Stuff.

Thanks for visiting
